Filebird

Terms of Use

Last updated:

By using Filebird at filebird.net you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are short.

The service

Filebird provides free tools for working with documents, images, video, audio and text. The tools run in your own browser and your files are not uploaded (see our Privacy Policy). We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights to your files. You are responsible for the files you process and must have the right to use them. Do not use Filebird to break the law or to infringe other people's rights, for example by removing protection from documents you are not authorised to open.

Keep your original files. Processing can change or reduce quality (for example compression), and results may occasionally differ from what you expect, so check results before relying on them.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the website, attack or overload its infrastructure, or copy the site in a way that misleads people into thinking it is Filebird.

No warranty

Filebird is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filebird and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of the website or its tools.

Third-party components and ads

Filebird uses open-source software, each under its own licence (for example FFmpeg, pdf.js, libheif and Tesseract). The site may show ads from third parties; we are not responsible for the content of ads or of websites they link to.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and continuing to use Filebird means you accept it.
