About Filebird
Filebird is a free toolbox for everyday file jobs: converting documents, compressing photos for upload forms, merging PDFs, turning iPhone photos into JPG, extracting audio from video and much more. All of it, in English and Arabic.
Private by design
Most online file tools upload your files to their servers. Filebird doesn't. Every tool runs inside your browser, on your own device, so your contracts, IDs, photos and recordings never leave it. That also means no upload waiting time, no file size limits set by a server, and no sign-up.
What you can do
- Documents: convert between PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text and more; merge, split, compress, sign, protect and unlock PDFs.
- Images: convert any image format including iPhone HEIC; compress to a target size such as under 200 KB; resize, crop, rotate and watermark; make passport photos.
- Video and audio: convert, trim, compress and mute video; extract and convert audio.
- Text and QR: extract text from images and scans (OCR) in Arabic and English; create and scan QR codes.
- Recipes: chain several tools and run them in one click.
Works offline
Filebird can be installed as an app on your phone or computer. Once opened, it keeps working without an internet connection.
Free
Filebird is free to use. Ads may help cover the cost of running it; they never get access to your files.
